by, and this one brought us to Sacramento — the heart of California’s capital. We spent some time exploring the area around the Capitol building, taking in the impressive architecture and the peaceful atmosphere of the surrounding park.
The weather was perfect for walking, and it felt great to just slow down and enjoy the city.
After our little sightseeing adventure, we stopped for some delicious pizza at a local spot — nothing beats a good slice after a day out. And of course, no week is complete without a trip to Walmart!
We stocked up on all the essentials (and a few spontaneous treats) and somehow managed to turn a regular shopping trip into a fun little adventure of its own.
California keeps surprising us, and we can’t wait to see what the next week brings.
Week two in Nevada is officially in the books—and what a week it was! We had another round of powerful conversations with families who truly care about their kids’ futures. It’s amazing to see how many parents are willing to invest their time, attention, and resources into helping their children succeed. That kind of dedication keeps us going even on the hottest, longest days 💪📚
And while going door to door, we also had an unexpected and emotional moment—we saw a beautiful reminder of our home, Ukraine 🇺🇦. Whether it was a flag, a sticker, or a kind word from someone who recognized where we’re from, it instantly warmed our hearts. It’s amazing how even far from home, we still feel connected.
Today, we’re taking a little breather and enjoying a well-deserved Sunday reset. We started the morning with a trip to Walmart 🛒 to restock on essentials (snacks and sunscreen, of course!). After that, we’ve been relaxing and recharging in the library 📚—a quiet moment to catch up on journaling, goal setting, and some well-needed AC.
And the best part? We’re heading to Lake Tahoe later today 🌊⛰️!
A bit of nature, fresh mountain air, and team time by the water is exactly what we need before launching into Week 3.
Work-life balance is key, and days like this help us come back stronger, more focused, and even more grateful for this crazy, awesome experience.
We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished, and even more excited for what’s ahead. Let’s go, Week 3—we’re ready! 🚀
Our first week here in Nevada has been both exciting and meaningful. We’ve had the chance to meet many amazing families who truly care about their children’s education and are willing to invest in their future 📚❤️
Throughout the week, we’ve been out in the community, going door to door, and having real conversations with parents.
It’s been inspiring to see how many of them are committed to giving their kids every possible advantage. Their openness and warmth made every long, hot day totally worth it.
On Sunday, we also had a team meeting where we reflected on everything we’ve experienced so far. It was a great moment to recharge, support each other, and get motivated for the days ahead.
We’re enjoying our time here in Nevada 🇺🇸—from the sunshine and the beautiful parks to some delicious American pizza 🍕 and laughs with Southwestern Advantage alumni. Every day brings a new adventure and another opportunity to help families grow.
This week marked a major milestone — we officially graduated from Sales School! But more than that, we transformed.
Sales School wasn’t just a training — it was a bootcamp for the mind, body, and spirit.
We learned how to handle rejection with a smile.🙂
We learned how to approach strangers with confidence.🤝💬
We practiced every detail of our presentations until it became second nature.🎤📖
We trained ourselves to stay positive, focused, and energized — even when things got tough.💪⚡️🔥
There were laughs, challenges, early mornings, and moments of doubt. But we made it. Together.
And now… we’re in Nevada, putting all of that into action. The real work has begun, and we’re diving in headfirst. Every day, we’re meeting families, building trust, sharing value, and doing our absolute best.
A huge thank-you to our incredible OLs and trainers who poured belief into us before we even believed in ourselves. You didn’t just teach us how to sell — you taught us how to lead, how to grow, and how to face life head-on.
The journey continues — and we’re just getting started. 🚀 Let’s go, bookfield warriors! Nevada won’t know what hit it.
